Adjusting Ceiling Fans for Upper Ferntree Gully Summer and Winter

Most fan models have a important switch conveniently placed on the motor housing which changes the direction the fan blades turn for summer and winter.

During the summer, this setting can push air downward, which generates cool atmosphere. You could even use it to recirculate the air emitted from an AC.

On the flip side, the setting for winter moves air from the other direction; pushing warmer air to all corners of an area.

For those living in or near Upper Ferntree Gully, this is a excellent way to save cash and energy while remaining comfortable year round. Take some time in your seasonal plans to adjust the ceiling fans setting for maximum comfort and economy.
